Finding your way around
After you log in, the Twin Check'n menu appears in Shopify admin's left sidebar, under the app name. Here's what each page is for. Every heading links to a full guide for that page.
Dashboard
The page you land on. It shows how many rush rolls the counter has sold today, how many rolls are in the lab right now, how many of those are rush, how many rolls sit in each status, and how long each kind of order has been taking. Select any status tile to jump to the orders in that status.
Orders
The list of every order Twin Check'n knows about. Search and filter it, open an order to see its rolls, change statuses, add notes and a Drive link, print labels and order forms, and Sync an order when it has changed in Shopify.
Check In
Where film is received. You look up the order, choose the film stock for each roll, assign add-ons like rush to specific rolls, then print a barcode label per roll and check the order in with one button (or scan a pre-printed label per roll when the lab is out of label stock). After that the rolls exist and can be tracked.
Order Updates
The quickest way to move work forward. Pick a status, scan a roll (or a whole order), and it's updated. Use this at each station as film moves through developing, scanning and finishing.
Status Flasher
A read-only lookup. Scan a roll and its status, bin, customer, film stock, add-ons, issues and notes flash up on screen for 20 seconds. Or type an order number or a customer's name to see a whole order and all its rolls. Nothing is changed, so it's safe for answering "where's my film?"
Scanning
The scanning station. Scan a roll to open its details, record issues and notes, and mark it scanned. If the station uses the local scan agent, this is also where the scanner's image files get moved into the roll's folder.
Productivity
Reports on who did what: how many rolls each person checked in, developed, scanned, delivered or cut and sleeved in a date range. For each stage it also shows pace, peak hours and the value of the work. Reports can be printed.
Order Forms
Batch-printing paper order forms. Scan one roll from each order you want, then generate a single PDF with one form per order. Printing a form also assigns the order a storage bin once it's ready for the shelf.
Pick Up
The counter hand-off. Search by customer name, email or order number, tick the orders they're collecting, and mark them picked up. Doing that frees their bins. The Bins tab shows what's on every shelf and handles alerting and discarding orders nobody has collected. Verify bins appears when a bin needs checking by hand.
Inbound Labels
Prepaid shipping labels for customers who mail their film in. Track each request from "awaiting address" to "label bought," and re-send, retry or void labels when something goes wrong.
Settings
Shop-wide configuration: product tags, film stocks, statuses, bins, label layout, metrics, customer emails, the customer dashboard, the order form template and inbound shipping. Everyone can open it, but some tabs are admin-only.
Staff (admins only)
